Not because the law meant lost learning time in her honors math class -- which would be 15 seconds shorter -- but because "it was clear that we're supposed to sit and pray, or sit and watch other people pray," said Dawn, who is an atheist.
This girl is crazy! A moment of silence doesn't promote any religion. Anyone can pray to whatever God or object they so choose. A moment of silence is all about tolerance. To be offended by a moment of silence is to reject tolerance and expect everyone to conform to your personal beliefs.
